NM Kamal Abdullah champion for Gerak Khas

NM Kamal Abdullah become champ of Gerakhas Open yesterday. Kamal score 6.5 points from seven games.Finished second is experienced player Kamaludin Yusuf who also have similiar points but lower tie break. FM Anas Nazreen Bakri long time away from chess now played his first tournament in Gerak Khas. He just finish his examination but performed well and 3rd with 5.5 points. Ismail Ahmad scored 5 points followed by Wan Ali Wan Manan and 3 Terengganu players Ruzenan Abu Bakar , Hashim Jusoh and Fairul Yusuf.

Mas maybe not play GM tournament

Hairulov just received a replied sms from Mashafizul (photo right) saying Mas maybe not play in coming International GM tournament (KL / T'ganu Open).


We hope all the best for Mas and his father and may God keep the health of his father well.
